The project
The Demoness Project explores female supernatural figures from many cultures through three connected forms: a concise folklore premise, an original metal song, and a distinctive piece of album art.
The music ranges from black and death metal to doom, gothic, symphonic, and folk-metal textures. The visual language stays deliberately unified: moonlight, ruined architecture, dark water, winter forests, ornate metalwork, restrained gilding, and portrait-driven covers.
These are creative interpretations, not definitive scholarly retellings. Folklore changes across place, period, language, and storyteller; the project treats those variations as part of the mystery.
Core anthology
The original archive is organized into four groups, moving from iconic night figures and water spirits into wider traditions of enchantment, predation, grief, guardianship, and plague.

Continuing work
Figures developed after the original four-collection index. These are presented as an evolving fifth chapter rather than forced into an older album sequence.
The recurring idea
Beauty can conceal danger. Monstrosity can conceal grief. A curse can become a voice. A legend survives because every generation tells it again.
The Demoness Project keeps that chain of retelling alive through original songs and images.
